    Expansion of fibre network in Sabah

    Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. (CT Sabah) was founded in 1995. It provides fibre transmission services across Sabah. The company is a joint venture, with Celcom (Malaysia) Bhd owning 80% shares. Hugold Success Sdn Bhd and Warisan Harta Sabah Sdn Bhd each hold 10%. CT Sabah has built a backbone fibre network covering Sabah. This infrastructure includes land-based fibre and submarine cables. It supports telecom operators by delivering stable, high-speed transmission services. The network is essential for businesses, government agencies, and residential users.

    The company continues to invest in network expansion. It upgrades infrastructure to meet the rising demand for data services. CT Sabah also collaborates with industry players to improve digital connectivity. Its efforts enhance communication networks and digital transformation across Sabah.
