    • Offers fibre and wireless residential, pro and corporate connectivity, cloud hosting, colocation, security and IT consultancy across Guinea.
    • Operating in a fast-evolving telecom environment, it faces industry-wide challenges, such as limited fixed-broadband penetration and dependence on a single subsea cable access.

Leader Net Services Sarl: Delivering high-speed connectivity

Leader Net Services Sarl offers fixed and wireless internet services across Guinea. Its residential packages include unlimited internet at speeds up to 15 Mbps for 790,000 FG/month. Pro and corporate plans provide speeds up to 30 Mbps and dedicated fibre channels from 10 Mbps for about 980,000 FG/month.

Beyond retail connectivity, the company offers Transit IP up to 10 Gbps, EVPL/MPLS interconnection via international Points-of-Presence, colocation, cloud hosting, and network security such as firewalls, anti-DDoS, and VPN. It also provides VoIP telephony, IT consultancy, smart-home automation, and app development.

Leader Net aims to be “the incontested leader in internet connectivity in Guinea.” It serves industries, mining, SMEs, and residential clients with multiple presence points nationwide.

Leader Net Services Sarl: Navigating Guinea’s telecom landscape

International operators like Orange and the state-run former MTN/Areeba dominate Guinea’s telecom market. Fixed broadband remains limited and expensive. Guinea completed a national backbone network in 2020 and saw fibre expansion between 17 and 26% in recent years. Guinéenne de Fibre Optique (GFO) was licensed in March 2023 to provide wholesale interconnection. The World Bank supported this with a $60 million loan to strengthen backbone capacity.

Smaller operators such as Sotelgui are restructuring or relaunching. Leader Net competes in a market with slow fixed-line uptake, infrastructure bottlenecks, and regulatory uncertainty. Guinea relies heavily on a single undersea cable for international connectivity.
