Fiberlink Solutions: bridging Kenya’s tech gaps

Fiberlink Solutions Limited has established itself as a key player in Kenya’s competitive technology sector, specialising in four core services: broadband connectivity, surveillance systems, corporate networking and IT support. With Kenya’s internet penetration reaching 46% in 2023 (Communications Authority data), the company’s focus on affordable last-mile connectivity has helped bridge urban-rural digital divides.

“Reliable infrastructure shouldn’t be a luxury,” states the company website, emphasising its work with SMEs. Recent installations include a fibre-optic network for Nairobi’s Eastleigh business district, reducing downtime by 72% according to client reports.

Fiberlink Solutions’ security innovations

Kenya’s security solutions market is projected to grow at 11% annually (KNBS), driven by rising crime rates and smart city initiatives. Fiberlink’s AI-powered CCTV systems with cloud storage address both concerns, though industry experts note challenges in power reliability and false alarms.

The company’s tech support division handles 300+ monthly service calls, with 89% resolution within 4 hours. As hybrid work expands, their SD-WAN solutions help businesses manage distributed teams – a service growing 40% year-on-year.
