    • Tata Communications launches the TGN-IA2 submarine cable, enhancing intra-Asia network capacity and reliability.
    • The company continues driving digital transformation, supporting cloud, 5G, and bandwidth-intensive applications.

    Tata Communications strengthens intra-Asia infrastructure

The TGN-IA2 submarine cable system, an essential improvement to Tata Communications‘ global network, was unveiled. Key Asian markets, such as China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, are interconnected by the 9,400-kilometer cable. By increasing latency, reliability, and network diversity for firms operating during the region, this expansion boosts the already-existing Tata Global Network Intra-Asia (TGN-IA). In order to meet the growing expectations of 5G, cloud adoption, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence applications, the system is built to support high-capacity connections.

Tata Communications’ effort to establishing scalable, robust infrastructure is illustrated by the TGN-IA2. The cable will provide low-latency connections, which are essential for cloud service users, content providers, and international businesses, as stated in the press release. By conserving network stability and effectiveness during operation, this infrastructure guarantees that companies can cope with the growing demands that accompany the digital world.

    Tata Communications drives digital transformation

As an enabler of the global digital ecosystem, Tata Communications carries about 30% of the world’s internet routes and connects to businesses and over 80% of the world’s biggest cloud providers. The organisation provides solutions in the cloud, security, network, mobility, collaboration, and internet of Items domains to a greater than 7,000 clients across the globe, including 300 Fortune 500 companies. These services assist businesses in embracing digital transformation, streamlining procedures, and effectively growing in a highly competitive environment.

The telecom industry continues to be affected by issues such as the need for scalable network infrastructure, cybersecurity risks, and the increasing demand for high-speed internet. Through innovations such as Network-as-a-Service (NaaS), which reduces network management while increasing flexibility and reduce expenses for operations, Tata Communications address these issues. In partnership with programs like TGN-IA2, these endeavours establish its position as the leader in offering durable, high-capacity connectivity that is essential for present-day digital economies.
