Knetco, an official contractor for Kuwait’s Ministry of Communications, has successfully deployed Huawei‘s 5G Advanced across all three of the country’s mobile operators (TechAfricaNews).
The project, completed on a compressed timeline, included full infrastructure readiness, system integration, and testing, delivering a network capable of speeds up to ten times faster than standard 5G, ultra-low latency, and significantly increased capacity. Knetco collaborated closely with Huawei to ensure a seamless rollout, enabling high-demand digital services such as AI-driven industrial applications, smart-city management, and advanced data-driven solutions.
The network deployment also establishes the technological foundation for innovative services, including augmented reality, autonomous systems, and real-time IoT applications.
