Key Points:

· Apple announced a price hike for its TV+, Arcade, and News+ subscription services.

· Apple One, a bundle that offers access to various Apple services adjusted its pricing.

In a move that echoes a trend among content providers, Apple announced a price hike for its TV+, Arcade, and News+ subscription services on Wednesday. This marks only the second time in four years that Apple has raised prices for its TV+ service. Apple joins the ranks of other companies that have recently adjusted subscription rates, including Netflix.

Price increases appearing unstoppable

Approximately a year after announcing a price increase for some of its subscription services, Apple is once again revising the pricing for several of its offerings, including Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade.

As reported by MacRumors, Apple is increasing the prices of its global subscription services, including in the United States. The original cost of Apple TV+ was $6.99 per month, and it has now been bumped up to $9.99 per month.

Apple Arcade has seen an increase of $2, with its monthly fee now standing at $6.99. Apple News+ has also been affected by the price hike, with a monthly cost of $12.99, an increase of $3.

An Apple spokesperson confirmed the price hikes in an email to IGN. Current subscribers to these services will see the price increases take effect on their “next renewal date, 30 days from now.”
