Regional telecom leaders to meet in Brazil

Telco Transformation LATAM 2025, hosted by Conecta LATAM, will convene in Rio de Janeiro from August 27 to 28. The event brings together decision-makers from across Latin America’s telecom sector, focusing on accelerating digital transformation, 5G deployment, AI-driven analytics, and open network infrastructure.

The summit will take place at the Windsor Oceânico Hotel, attracting more than 650 delegates, including C-level executives, directors, and innovation leads from regional operators such as TIM, Claro, Entel, and Vivo. Over 95 expert speakers are confirmed to share insights on topics ranging from cloud-native operations to revenue protection and fraud mitigation.

Sponsors including Nokia, Incognito, and Enea will showcase network intelligence tools, service orchestration platforms, and voice firewall solutions tailored to emerging market needs.

Why it matters for LATAM’s digital evolution

As Latin American telecoms accelerate infrastructure investment and automation, Telco Transformation LATAM offers a key platform for strategic alignment. With many operators pursuing AI-driven service models and battling increasing security threats, the summit presents a timely forum for collaboration.

Regional regulators and carriers face pressure to reduce costs while expanding rural coverage and combating voice fraud. The event also facilitates one-on-one sessions between vendors and operators, fostering regional partnerships.

The conference arrives as Brazil reinstates visa requirements for U.S. and other nationals, underscoring the importance of early travel planning. Conecta LATAM is offering discounted registration rates for early delegates through the end of July.
