  • Salt, as an award-winning Microsoft Direct Cloud Solutions provider, powers secure cloud and automation for Namibian businesses.
  • The firm partners with government on cybersecurity awareness, public training, and drives innovation in the face of rising cyber threats.

Salt Essential IT boosts cloud services and automation

Salt Essential IT, headquartered in Windhoek, is recognised as one of Africa’s most awarded Microsoft Direct Cloud Solution Providers, supporting small and medium enterprises with cloud integration, automation, business continuity and cybersecurity services.

Recently, Salt has stepped up its collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT) in Namibia to deliver cybersecurity awareness sessions aimed at government staff and the public. This initiative is part of an MoU signed to elevate national cybersecurity posture over five years.

Salt Essential IT matters to Namibia’s digital ecosystem

Cloud services and automation are accelerating Namibia’s digital transformation, but this dependency also increases exposure to cyberattacks. Salt responds by delivering vendor-approved cloud solutions that give companies secure, reliable systems while allowing them to innovate with confidence.

Across the ICT landscape, shortages of trained professionals, regulatory limitations and escalating threats continue to weigh heavily. By combining the role of technology supplier with that of educator, Salt has positioned itself as a key driver of Namibia’s secure digital transformation.
