What happened: Strategic upgrade to enhance connectivity

Nokia has successfully upgraded Orange Jordan’s Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) with its advanced 7750 Service Router (SR) platforms. The upgrade, covering 76 sites across Jordan, aims to improve broadband services, increase network efficiency, and deliver better user experiences to subscribers. The deployment spans the north, central, and southern regions of the country.

By integrating Nokia’s 7750 SR BNG, Orange Jordan will provide high-speed internet, IPTV, and personalized broadband services. Why it’s important

This upgrade is pivotal in enhancing the broadband services available to Orange Jordan’s customers. The new Nokia 7750 SR BNG platform will improve network efficiency and meet the growing demand for digital services in Jordan. By covering 76 sites, the deployment spans across key regions, ensuring improved connectivity for a larger portion of the population.

Moreover, the strategic move will help Orange Jordan achieve its sustainability goals. Optimising energy consumption and reducing operational costs aligns with the growing global focus on green technology. This upgrade not only strengthens Orange Jordan’s position in the market but also contributes to the broader development of digital infrastructure in the region. Nokia’s role in this process underscores the importance of resilient, secure, and scalable network solutions for service providers and customers alike.
