What happened: GlobalConnect appoints Alexander Hoffmann as new CTIO
GlobalConnect has appointed Alexander Hoffmann as Group Chief Technology & Information Officer (CTIO) and Senior Vice President. This takes effect on 1 October 2025. The move consolidates the company’s IT, technology, and engineering teams under one leader. Consequently, it aims to speed up network development, create standardised products, and increase automation in service delivery.
Hoffmann joins from Juniper Networks, where he led the AI-driven enterprise WAN portfolio in EMEA. Previously, he held senior roles at Oracle and Acme Packet.
