Why it’s important
The UAE has taken “emiratization” as the core pillar of its economic strategy, striving to improve the participation of UAE citizens in emerging industries (such as technology, digital services and advanced telecommunications). The memorandum of understanding signed with Du, one of the largest telecom operators in the UAE, directly supports this vision by combining labor development with future oriented digital economy jobs.
The agreement focuses on professional training and practical employment channels, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional skills and ensure that UAE talents can be qualified for the posts that support UAE’s continuous innovation and competitiveness.
This coperation also reflects the broader national priorities of the UAE, that is, to prepare for digital transformation and technology driven growth. In these areas, human capital and digital skills are critical to the long-term success of industries.
