    • It invests in digital inclusion, innovation labs and fintech to reach wider markets.

Orange Tunisie provides in Tunisia’s telecom market

Orange Tunisie launched in 2010 as part of the global Orange Group and quickly became one of Tunisia’s leading telecom operators. It provides mobile voice and data, fixed internet, enterprise ICT services, cloud platforms and digital financial tools. The company serves millions of subscribers across the country and supports enterprises with tailored connectivity and cloud-based business solutions.

Beyond connectivity, Orange has made digital inclusion a core priority. The company runs programmes aimed at bridging the digital divide, such as Orange Digital Centers that provide training in coding, entrepreneurship and new technologies. Through these hubs, students and young professionals gain access to mentorship and digital tools that improve employability. Its presence on LinkedIn highlights community initiatives, corporate updates and partnerships with public and private actors to strengthen the national digital economy.

Orange Tunisie matters for Tunisia’s digital future

Much of Tunisia, particularly areas outside the capital, continues to struggle with patchy broadband. The demand for data, however, has been climbing steadily, leaving operators caught between the need to expand networks and the expectation of keeping prices affordable. Orange Tunisie has stepped up by adding more fibre connections, improving 4G reach and moving towards 5G pilots. For customers this means internet that is not only faster but also more stable, making day-to-day tasks such as online lessons, e-commerce and video streaming easier to manage.

Alongside its network build-out, the company has pushed into financial services with Orange Money, a mobile platform that helps people without bank accounts carry out everyday transactions. Mobile money is spreading fast across North Africa, and in Tunisia it is giving more people access to simple, secure financial tools. Backed by Orange Group but run with strong local teams, Orange Tunisie has grown into more than a telecom operator. Its combination of connectivity, digital training programmes and mobile finance has turned it into a long-term partner in the country’s digital transition.
