What happened: Jay Bhatt named M-Files CEO amid recapitalization

M-Files, recognized for its intelligent information management solutions, has announced the appointment of Jay Bhatt as its new CEO. This leadership transition is in conjunction with the closing of a significant recapitalization deal led by Haveli Investments and Bregal Milestone, with participation from CrossParadigm Capital, an investment firm led by Bhatt himself. Bhatt joins M-Files with a rich background in operational excellence and a history of scaling software businesses, previously serving as CEO for companies like Alfresco Software, Blackboard, and Progress Software (NASDAQ: PRGS), and leading the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction business at Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK).
