Thammasat: Launching KBTG campus initiative

Collaborative launch of the KBTG campus project

Thammasat University has partnered with KBTG, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Mahidol University to launch the KBTG Kampus project, a new initiative aimed at advancing technology education in Thailand. This project is designed to develop the next generation of Tech Talent through a Master’s degree program in Interdisciplinary Studies. The program will focus on practical research, addressing industry challenges and applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. By integrating academic learning with industry insight, the KBTG Kampus project aims to bridge the gap between education and technological innovation.

Industry collaboration and real-world research focus

The KBTG Kampus initiative is unique in its approach, as it incorporates close collaboration between academia and industry. KBTG and Kasikornbank Group professionals will serve as thesis advisors and assist with both curriculum development and the selection of candidates. This partnership ensures that the program stays aligned with the latest technological trends and industry demands, helping students develop practical skills that are highly sought after by employers.

Furthermore, students enrolled in the program will engage in research that directly addresses real-world challenges. The university aims to create a learning environment where students can apply academic concepts to solve complex problems faced by companies in the tech sector.

Strengthening Thailand’s technological capabilities

By introducing the KBTG Kampus project, Thammasat University is taking an important step in advancing Thailand’s technological capabilities. The program is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the fast-evolving technology sector.
