    • QSupport Cloud offers Veeam-based backups and private cloud hosting in South Africa.
    • The company provides strong security, clear pricing and high reliability.

QSupport Cloud: Building trust in local cloud services

QSupport Cloud (Pty) Ltd is based in Kempton Park, Gauteng. It runs from data centres in Johannesburg, including Teraco Isando. The company gives backup and private cloud services to businesses that need safe and local data storage. It supports both small and large firms that want control and compliance with South African data laws.

The company uses Veeam Cloud Connect for its backup service. This system is known for safe and fast data recovery. QSupport Cloud also uses Ceph storage to make sure data is always available. Its systems are made to stay online even if one part fails.

Clients can use an online portal to make backups and restore data when needed. They can also see performance reports and change how often backups run. Prices start at about R1.81 per gigabyte each month for small users. Bigger clients pay about R1.02 per gigabyte. Bills come each month, and there are no long-term contracts.

QSupport Cloud follows strong safety rules. It has ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certification. The system has extra power units and backup servers to keep services running. It also uses monitoring and packet checks to stop network risks. This helps companies follow the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in South Africa.

All data stays inside local data centres. This means the data follows South African laws and is not sent overseas. It gives customers confidence that their business information is safe.

South Africa’s cloud industry: Progress and problems

The cloud market in South Africa is growing fast. With so many companies now storing their data in the cloud, or using a combination of on-premises and cloud-based systems. Yet in some regions, certain companies still have to deal with prohibitively high prices and sluggish internet. Complying with local legal and technical regulations may also be a challenge for smaller companies.

Cyberattacks and ransomware are a big worry these days. Businesses have lost critical data, and can’t bounce back quickly.

Many businesses lose important data and cannot recover quickly. This makes backup and recovery services very important. Companies need systems that work all the time and can restore data without long delays.

New tools are helping the industry move forward. Many providers now offer simple, pay-as-you-go pricing and online control panels. Customers can change their storage plans easily and use only what they need.

QSupport Cloud fits well into this new trend. It gives reliable storage and flexible pricing while keeping data secure and local. Its clear and simple service model is helping South African companies protect data in a growing digital economy.
