Orange Burkina Faso operates as a national telecom provider since its launch. The operator began under the Orange Group following the acquisition of Airtel in mid‑2016, gaining around 4.6 million active customers. The rebranded business now serves more than six million subscribers across Burkina Faso. It provides mobile voice and data services using 3.75G technology. The firm also offers fixed broadband fibre services to enterprise and consumer markets.

Orange Money mobile financial services launched in 2013 under the Airtel brand and later integrated under current ownership. Customers can perform domestic and international transfers, bill payments and airtime top‑ups using mobile wallets. The provider holds licenses for mobile, fixed and financial services. It supports both retail and business market segments. Orange Burkina Faso deploys infrastructure across urban centres and rural areas. The company maintains base stations, fibre links and payment agent networks. It continuously expands coverage and modernises its optical fibre network to meet demand.
