  • Comprehensive IT Services: E.G.I.T. provides a range of IT solutions, including data centre management, connectivity, networking, IT training, consulting, and research services.
  • Strategic Partnerships: The company collaborates with international entities, such as Elite Capital & Co. Limited, to conduct feasibility studies for significant projects like the Qattara Depression, aiming to boost Egypt’s economy and exports.

E.G.I.T. for Technology Services: A pillar of Egypt’s digital transformation

E.G.I.T. for Technology Services is a key company in Egypt’s information and communications technology (ICT) sector, and it works under EGID and EGX as a subsidiary, and it holds a Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) licence so its role is regulated and clear. It has run a Tier 3 data centre since 2016, and it offers data hosting and connectivity and IT training and consulting and research services, and these serve clients that need stable platforms and secure environments.
Egypt’s ICT industry faces hard needs such as infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity risks and a shortage of skilled staff, and these pressures raise cost and delay projects. E.G.I.T. responds with expert support and consulting to improve IT infrastructure and raise capabilities and build strong network and security measures, and its work spans strategic IT planning and technology assessments and project management and system upgrades and ongoing maintenance and support.

E.G.I.T.’s role in national projects

Beyond its core services, E.G.I.T. works on national development projects. In April 2023, E.G.I.T. Consulting signed an agreement with Elite Capital & Co. Limited to carry out a new feasibility study for the Qattara Depression. The project aims to use advanced technologies to raise Egypt’s exports and financial flows, so it creates new jobs and lifts the nation’s GDP.
Egypt’s ICT sector shows strong growth, and the scale is clear. Investments reached about $4.2 billion in 2022/2023.The government’s Digital Egypt plan aims to build a digital society, and it expands infrastructure and supports innovation and updates public services nationwide today.
Companies like E.G.I.T. play a key role in this shift, and they provide infrastructure and skills to support the nation’s digital goals at scale.
