    • TCC Technology (TCCtech) and the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre (NECTEC) have launched MANUTECH Season 2, focusing on enhancing digital knowledge in Thailand’s agricultural sector by integrating IT and OT systems.
    • The program aims to provide in-depth training on advanced manufacturing technologies, smart farming solutions, and data analytics to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
    • This collaboration underscores the commitment of both organisations to support the digital transformation and global competitiveness of Thailand’s agricultural industry.

In a significant step towards enhancing digital proficiency within Thailand’s agricultural sector, TCC Technology (TCCtech) has once again partnered with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre (NECTEC) to launch the second season of MANUTECH. Titled “MANUTECH Season 2: Shaping the Future of Manufacturing,” this initiative underscores the ongoing commitment of both organisations to drive Industry 4.0 advancements and the seamless integration of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.

The convergence of IT and OT

The opening ceremony of MANUTECH Season 2 was marked by the distinguished presence of Mr. Teerapan Luengnaruemitchai, Managing Director of TCCtech, who emphasised the strategic importance of this collaboration. Mr. Teerapan highlighted that the convergence of IT and OT is crucial for the agricultural sector to harness the full potential of digital transformation, thereby improving productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.

This season of MANUTECH aims to build upon the success of its predecessor by offering a more comprehensive curriculum designed to address the specific needs of the agricultural industry. Through a series of workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions, participants will gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills related to advanced manufacturing technologies, smart farming solutions, and data-driven decision-making processes.

Key topics covered in the program include the Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture, precision farming techniques, data analytics, and the use of robotics and automation in farming operations. By integrating these technologies, farmers and agricultural businesses can optimise resource use, enhance crop yields, and reduce operational costs, ultimately contributing to the sector’s overall growth and sustainability.

A platform encouraging innovation and knowledge exchange

Furthermore, MANUTECH Season 2 provides a platform for industry experts, researchers, and technology providers to share insights and best practices, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge exchange. This aligns with TCCtech’s vision of creating a digitally empowered agricultural sector that can compete on a global scale.

The collaboration between TCCtech and NECTEC is a testament to the shared commitment of both organisations to support Thailand’s digital economy and agricultural advancement. By equipping farmers and agricultural enterprises with the necessary tools and knowledge, MANUTECH Season 2 is poised to make a significant impact on the sector, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future.

In conclusion, the launch of MANUTECH Season 2 represents a pivotal moment in the journey towards digital transformation in agriculture. TCCtech and NECTEC’s joint efforts will not only elevate digital knowledge but also drive meaningful change, ensuring that the agricultural sector is well-prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
