    • ISAT Africa provides satellite (GEO, MEO, LEO), MPLS, enterprise internet, rural and mobile-operator connectivity, and broadcasting services across Kenya and beyond.
    • The industry confronts rising infrastructure deployment costs, latency & backhaul constraints, regulatory hurdles, and demand for low-latency, affordable broadband.

ISAT Africa Kenya Ltd expands connectivity and services

ISAT Africa Ltd FZC runs its Kenyan subsidiary from offices in Nairobi’s Karen Green complex. The group acts as an integrated provider, combining satellite, fibre, and managed network solutions for businesses and operators. The company is active in regional industry forums. On

LinkedIn, ISAT highlighted its MD and Founder, Rakesh Kukreja, speaking at SATEXPO 2025 during SES Business Talks. His remarks focused on backhaul efficiency and building more resilient networks.

ISAT Africa Kenya Ltd matters in Africa’s broadband & satellite sector

While Africa’s digital economy has accelerated—driven by mobile money, cloud adoption, remote work, and digital trade—the infrastructure story is mixed. Rural and remote regions lack fibre, satellite gear is expensive, and incumbents such as Safaricom and Zuku keep competition tight.

ISAT Africa Kenya Ltd is bridging some of these gaps. Its combination of satellite technologies with terrestrial networks helps extend affordable services where traditional fibre rollouts are not viable. Initiatives such as smart kiosks and community connectivity points add new models for sustainable access.
