  • Interactive Brokers Singapore strengthens its commitment to delivering a seamless, customisable trading experience across asset classes.

Interactive Brokers Singapore: Boosts IBKR desktop offering

Interactive Brokers Singapore, part of the global brokerage giant Interactive Brokers has announced significant updates to its IBKR Desktop platform. Designed to serve both novice investors and seasoned traders, IBKR Desktop now delivers enhanced flexibility, global access, and powerful tools — all while maintaining a clean, intuitive interface and no platform fees.

Steve Sanders, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, described the updates as “a reflection of our ongoing commitment to deliver a world-class trading experience across an advanced and easy-to-use platform.”

New features include multi-monitor support, allowing users to detach and link layout screens across devices, and ForecastTrader, which lets investors trade predictions on political, economic, and climate events. Overnight trading has been expanded too, enabling around-the-clock access to over 10,000 US stocks, ETFs, and futures.

Clients can now also leverage sophisticated screeners, like MultiSort, to sort through more than 70,000 global stocks based on customised trading strategies. Enhanced alerts and notification sounds aim to ensure traders never miss critical market moves.

Interactive Brokers Singapore: Strengthening its edge

Interactive Brokers Singapore, operating under the robust Interactive Brokers Group since 1978, benefits from the company’s global reach across 160+ markets and its reputation for technological excellence. As of the latest update, Interactive Brokers services over 2.7 million client accounts and manages daily trade volumes exceeding 1.8 million.

The brokerage industry is undergoing rapid change, driven by digitisation, increasing demand for 24/7 market access, and pressure to cut fees. Players like Interactive Brokers Singapore are innovating to stay ahead, offering AI-driven tools, predictive trading options, and seamless multi-asset platforms to meet shifting client expectations.

While competition remains fierce with new fintech entrants and evolving regulations — Interactive Brokers continues to differentiate itself through superior execution technology, extensive global coverage, and competitive pricing. According to recent third-party evaluations, Interactive Brokers consistently ranks among the lowest in margin rates and highest in execution quality globally.

With the new IBKR Desktop enhancements, Interactive Brokers Singapore is positioning itself firmly for the next wave of digital-savvy investors and traders.
