    • Gulfsat Communications is a leading provider of satellite communication services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)  region.
    • The company created a unique over the top (OTT) application platform for content distribution, named “ionKhaleej”.
    • The “ionKhaleej” application is set to generate substantial revenue for television broadcasters and provide users with a more comfortable viewing experience.

Gulfsat Communications has developed a unique OTT application platform for content distribution, named “ionKhaleej”. As the first OTT application in the ion app family, “ionKhaleej” offers a selection of channels focused on the Gulf region. It caters to the growing demand for media content that aligns with the privacy, interests, culture, and lifestyle preferences of the Gulf region. Whether it’s live TV channels, radio broadcasts, online streaming channels, or video-on-demand, the “ionKhaleej” app provides easy access to a variety of content.

‘ionKhaleej’ to change the way users engage with digital content

The application delivers a seamless and transparent user experience on mobile devices, featuring immediate scalability, streamlined traffic management, interactive social media features, real-time audience analytics, and an additional platform for advertising.

“ionKhaleej” operates on a subscription model that offers TV broadcasters the adaptability to pay based on their growth trajectory. Furthermore, clustering broadcasters within the same platform fosters an environment conducive to collective advancement. This is achieved by staying abreast of emerging features and trend evolutions, thereby promoting a competitive and supportive ecosystem for all participants.

‘ionKhaleej’ offers a platform reflecting user interests

Leveraging Gulfsat’s expertise in satellite technology, “ionKhaleej” ensures high-quality access to a wide array of digital services. From news and entertainment to educational resources, the app aims to be a one-stop platform for all digital needs.

With the introduction of “ionKhaleej”, we are proud to bring a new dimension to digital connectivity, specifically curated for our valued users in the region.

    Gulfsat’s CEO, Mohib Pirbay

Gulfsat’s CEO, Mohib Pirbay, expressed enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “With the introduction of “ionKhaleej”, we are proud to bring a new dimension to digital connectivity, specifically curated for our valued users in the region.”
