  • Globe Internet Ltd is Malawi’s premier ICT provider, delivering full-stack internet, cloud, managed network, security, call-centre, and vehicle-tracking services since 1999.
  • With robust fibre and satellite infrastructure, multiple offices nationwide, and enterprise-grade SLAs, Globe offers scalable solutions for businesses and reliable broadband for consumers.

Globe Internet Ltd: State-of-the-Art End-to-End ICT Services

Globe Internet Ltd (GIL), founded in 1999 and headquartered in Blantyre, is a professional, privately held company with 201–500 employees. It has grown from a single ISP into a full-spectrum ICT provider across Malawi. It offers corporate networking, data centre, cloud, VPS, VPN, web hosting, call centre, monitoring, security services, vehicle tracking, and specialized platforms like Globe PMS for hotels and “Kawawa” bundle packages for consumers.

Globe Internet Ltd: Robust National Network Infrastructure

GIL operates two redundant international gateways connected to Seacom and EASSy submarine cables via Mozambique and Zambia. The company has built its own optical-fibre backbone delivering up to STM‑1 (155 Mbps) uncapped business bandwidth, supported by VSAT satellite for remote backup. With offices and service centres in Limbe (Blantyre), Lilongwe, Mzuzu, and Zomba, GIL ensures reliable nationwide service.

Globe Internet Ltd: Tailored Corporate and Consumer Offerings

For businesses, GIL provides scalable, high-uptime services—including fibre, dedicated wireless, VPN, VPS/cloud hosting, and call-centre infrastructure. Residential customers can choose from 3G/4G “MobileMax” bundles and fixed wireless packages like “Kawawa Net Yathu,” with streaming speeds up to 10 Mbps.

Globe Internet Ltd: Quality, Support and Security First

GIL maintains ITIL-aligned SLAs, 24/7 monitoring, professional support, and strict data centres’ terms to ensure uptime, redundancy, and client data integrity. Its privacy policy (updated February 2025) and customer surveys reflect transparency and user-focused improvements.
