  • The redesign introduces cutting-edge features like a podcast room, improved lighting, acoustic enhancements, and expanded event spaces.
  • The renovation underscores WeWork’s strategic commitment to creating high-quality, flexible spaces that meet the demands of modern professionals.

Meet member experience by innovative design

WeWork’s Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20 in Munich has undergone a remarkable transformation, blending elevated design with advanced features to redefine member experiences. Originally opened in 2018, the redesigned space reflects the company’s latest standards in flexible work environments. Key enhancements include improved lighting, acoustic upgrades, and expanded All Access areas, which cater to productivity and collaboration. Newly added amenities, such as a podcast room and upgraded event spaces, highlight WeWork’s focus on providing high-quality, tailored experiences for its members. According to Ebbie Wisecarver, Chief Design Officer, the renovation embodies WeWork’s philosophy of creating timeless yet functional designs that meet the dynamic needs of today’s professionals.

Local inspiration matchs contemporary functionality

The redesigned Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20 integrates regional influences with the concept of “Radical Patina,” offering a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Warm timber accents, rich red surfaces, and layered lighting create a visually stunning workspace while prioritising member comfort. These architectural details reflect a thoughtful approach to blending local culture with modern functionality. “The transformation celebrates unique local influences while delivering spaces that inspire focus and innovation,” added Wisecarver. This approach ensures the space not only enhances professional productivity but also offers a distinct character that resonates with its Munich location.

WeWork’s grand vision for the future

This renovation is a testament to WeWork’s commitment to reinvesting in its portfolio and adapting to the evolving demands of flexible workspaces. With features such as advanced speed gates and enhanced meeting rooms, the transformation of Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20 sets a benchmark for premium work environments. Rebecca Nachanakian, General Manager for Continental Europe, emphasised the strategic significance of this project, stating, “Munich remains a key market for WeWork, and this renovation reflects our investment in delivering high-value environments for members and landlords alike.” The initiative reinforces WeWork’s vision of sustainable growth while ensuring members thrive in dynamic, cutting-edge spaces.
