Satellite internet operator in Cameroon

Bloosat is a Cameroonian company founded in 2017. Its core business is satellite internet access using HTS Ka‑band. It serves homes, businesses and public institutions across Cameroon. Bloosat partners with Konnect Africa, a subsidiary of Eutelsat. The partnership allows satellite transport of high‑speed internet in areas without terrestrial networks. The company specialises in services independent of fibre or ADSL. Bloosat has installed over 1 400 satellite antennas in Cameroon and sub‑region locales. It offers flexible packages for residential and business users. It allocates satellite kits, installation and monthly subscriptions.

In mid‑2016 and 2017, it launched satellite broadband across the country. The service covers urban and remote areas that lack fibre coverage. Outside Cameroon, Bloosat extends services to countries like Chad, Gabon, CAR, DRC and Ivory Coast. The firm targets areas underserved by other internet providers. It delivers consistent satellite connectivity using HTS. It uses standard modem and receiver kits for clients. It bases technical support in Yaoundé and Douala through central offices.

The company offers dedicated and flexible plans. It addresses both residential users and institutional clients. It supports hotspot deployment and pay‑as‑you‑go models in rural zones. It promotes nationwide access in areas without physical infrastructure.

Bloosat connects via Konnect Africa network and Eutelsat satellite capacity. It handles customer support and field installation services. It offers 24/7 technical support by phone and email. Its offices operate in both Douala and Yaoundé. It cooperates with local agents for network deployment. It markets connectivity where terrestrial networks are absent. The company maintains direct control over equipment distribution and service installation. It works to make satellite connectivity viable for diverse users across Cameroon.
