Bank of Abyssinia Share Company, a trailblaser in banking technology, has made a significant leap forward with the introduction of Ethiopia’s first express visa card printing service and digital visa card service. These innovative offerings were unveiled on Saturday, 22 June 2016, at a ceremony held at the Bank’s virtual banking centre in the national museum. The inauguration was presided over by the Minister of Innovation, Dr. Yishru Alemayehu.

The express visa card Printing service is a game-changer for customers seeking efficiency and convenience. Instead of the traditional process of visiting a branch and waiting for days to receive a visa card, customers can now simply visit the nearest virtual banking centre. There, they can apply for and receive a visa card in their name immediately. This service is available to the bank’s regular customers, Apollo subscribers, those needing card replacements, and new account holders at the virtual banking centers.
