The Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) is now accepting applications for its 2025 funding cycle. Organizations, ranging from public and private sectors to academia, non-profits, and social enterprises, are invited to submit proposals aimed at solving digital development challenges.
ISIF Asia, established to support community growth across the Asia Pacific region, has already provided over USD 10.1 million in grants since its inception, benefiting 166 grants and 43 awards across 32 economies.
As the program continues to evolve, the 2025 cycle marks an opportunity for new initiatives to receive critical support. Applications will remain open until April 4, 2025, providing ample time for interested parties to register and submit their proposals.
This cycle includes funding opportunities in three primary program areas: Inclusion, Infrastructure, and Knowledge. Each area addresses specific challenges in the region, such as ensuring equitable access to the internet, improving internet infrastructure, and building technical capacity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
These program areas aim to improve the overall digital ecosystem in the Asia Pacific region, addressing a variety of community needs from online service access to enhancing cybersecurity and operational efficiency.

Why it’s important
The ISIF Asia funding cycle represents a pivotal initiative to tackle the digital divide in the Asia Pacific region. As the internet becomes an increasingly essential part of everyday life, ensuring equitable access to digital resources and improving the technical capabilities of underserved communities is more critical than ever.
By addressing the challenges of internet speed, security, and access, ISIF Asia supports sustainable development and economic growth in the region. Notably, the focus on environmental impact and IPv6 deployment adds a contemporary layer to the initiative, enabling long-term solutions that are both innovative and future-proof.
The program is an excellent opportunity for organizations to not only receive funding but also gain visibility and support to implement lasting changes.
