The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is inviting volunteers to serve on the 2025 ARIN Fellowship Selection Committee. This committee is responsible for evaluating applications and selecting candidates for ARIN’s Fellowship Program, which provides individuals with a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Internet governance and number resource policy. ARIN is looking for up to six volunteers to serve a one-year term, with a commitment of approximately 10 hours in January/February and July/August. Why it is important

Participation in the 2025 ARIN Fellowship Selection Committee allows individuals to directly contribute to the future of Internet governance and policy. The ARIN Fellowship program provides a unique opportunity for emerging leaders to gain expertise and experience in the field to help shape the direction of global Internet policy. By participating in the selection process, volunteers can ensure that the most qualified and passionate candidates are selected, thereby promoting diversity and leadership in the Internet community.

In addition, the Committee plays a key role in sustaining ARIN’s mission to empower individuals and organizations to participate in Internet governance, particularly in areas related to digital resource policy. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to network with industry experts, learn about the selection process, and influence the future of the ARIN Scholarship program. This opportunity strengthens the community and supports the broader goal of providing an open, secure and accessible Internet for all.
