    • Aevi teams up with LEGI.ONE to provide SMEs with advanced payment solutions, including cashless payment terminals and future e-commerce integration.
    • The collaboration aims to help SMEs overcome challenges like cash flow issues and late payments, offering simple and reliable payment systems to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

    What happened

Aevi, a leading player in in-person payment orchestration, has partnered with LEGI.ONE LTD, a provider of solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to offer advanced payment services to smaller businesses. This collaboration aims to make the sophisticated payment technologies used by larger companies accessible to SMEs, helping them improve cashless transactions and enhance their market presence.

Initially, the partnership will focus on enabling cashless payments via payment terminals. In the future, both companies plan to extend these solutions to the e-commerce sector, enabling SMEs to merge online and in-store transactions. By offering access to advanced payment systems, Aevi aims to help SMEs deliver better services to their customers.

Research from Ernst & Young reveals that 74% of SMEs were impacted by the pandemic, facing challenges like late payments and cash flow problems. According to Pay.UK, many SMEs have not pursued payment solutions due to perceived complexity or reluctance to change. The Aevi-LEGI.ONE partnership seeks to tackle these issues by providing SMEs with simple, reliable, and accessible payment solutions to streamline operations and boost customer satisfaction.

    Why it is important

The partnership between Aevi and LEGI.ONE is crucial for SMEs, as it offers access to advanced payment solutions that were once only available to larger businesses. By providing SMEs with reliable, cashless payment systems, the collaboration helps businesses streamline their operations and improve customer experience. This is especially important in the wake of the pandemic, which left many SMEs struggling with cash flow and late payments. Research shows that many small businesses have not explored existing payment solutions due to complexity or fear of change. The Aevi-LEGI.ONE partnership addresses these concerns by offering simple, accessible tools that enable SMEs to process payments more efficiently. Additionally, the future integration of e-commerce payment systems will allow SMEs to unify their online and in-store transactions, further strengthening their market presence and competitiveness. This collaboration ultimately empowers SMEs to grow, adapt, and thrive in an increasingly digital economy.
