ZPE launches new console server and NVIDIA platform enhancing AI workload

  • ZPE Systems launches the Nodegrid Serial Console Core Edition and Nodegrid Gate SR with the embedded NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module.
  • The Core Edition addresses legacy console server vulnerabilities with an isolated management network for enhanced cybersecurity.
  • The Gate SR platform with Jetson module improves AI workload management, enhancing safety and security in industrial environments.

Product launch at Cisco Live

ZPE Systems, now a part of Legrand, has announced the launch of two new products at Cisco Live Las Vegas: the Nodegrid Serial Console Core Edition and the Nodegrid Gate SR platform, featuring the embedded NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano module.

These innovations are designed to protect critical IT infrastructure and NVIDIA AI investments from escalating cyber threats.

Addressing legacy vulnerabilities

The first step in cybersecurity resilience is proper IT hygiene, starting with the right architecture to eliminate the anxiety associated with automated patching and recovery.

Koroush Saraf, VP of Products and Marketing at ZPE Systems

The Nodegrid Serial Console Core Edition is an affordable third-generation console server that mitigates the vulnerabilities associated with legacy console servers. By implementing a drop-in Isolated Management Infrastructure (IMI), it ensures that management traffic is entirely segregated from production networks, offering physical and logical protection from unauthorised access and cyber threats.

Enhancing AI workload management

ZPE’s new Nodegrid Gate SR platform with the embedded Jetson module provides a dual-CPU platform that utilises IMI for the provisioning of AI workloads via an out-of-band path. This allows organisations to deploy, manage, and upgrade AI workloads remotely, improving safety, security, and quality control in industrial environments.

“These products, with their innovative features, will enable companies to strengthen the protection of their critical IT infrastructure and NVIDIA AI investments against the increasing cyber-attack threats.”

About ZPE

Zero Point Energy (ZPE) refers to the lowest possible energy that a system can possess, and at ZPE Systems, the belief is that secure and reliable access to critical infrastructure consoles should require a management effort as close to zero as possible.

ZPE Systems is composed of a team of technologists with extensive experience in console management, holding over 20 granted patents. The team has been at the forefront of providing serial access to CRAFT interfaces, witnessing the rise of pizza box computing, and pioneering the first Linux-based Break Safe console servers. They have integrated IPMI into servers, developed universal access appliances, and introduced security and compliance features that meet the stringent requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA, and ITIL.

Frustrated by the limitations of large vendors offering proprietary solutions that struggled to keep pace with change, ZPE Systems created NodeGrid Manager—the world’s first Software Defined Infrastructure for Vendor-Neutral Physical and Virtual Console Access and Control.
