    iRENALA‘s mission is to propel Madagascar’s growth in higher education and scientific research, facilitating the dissemination and application of research findings to create more opportunities and possibilities for the country’s future development.

    Objectives of iRENALA

    iRENALA aims to manage Madagascar‘s national telecommunications network to support research, technological development and teaching. Its mission includes the development of a scientific and technical collection network, participation in international projects and the provision of electronic communication services to further promote scientific research and educational development and to ensure project management of the network and resources.

    Through iRENALA’s endeavours, we are committed to advancing Madagascar’s higher education and scientific research sectors and laying a solid foundation for the country’s future development.

    Through partnerships with domestic and international research institutions and universities, iRENALA continues to explore and expand Madagascar’s potential in technological innovation and academic exchange, providing a vibrant learning and research environment for the country’s researchers and students.

    As an organisation dedicated to the advancement and promotion of scientific research and technological innovation, iRENALA remains steadfast in its commitment to contribute to the development of higher education and scientific research in Madagascar. Through continuous efforts and sustained collaboration, iRENALA actively drives Madagascar’s technological prowess and innovation capacity, injecting new vigour and momentum into the country’s development and prosperity.

    About iRENALA

    Opened on June 2012 in Toamasina, iRENALA was created in partnership with AUF, RENATER, IRD, CIRAD, French Corporation, NIC-MG and TELMA, and with the support of MESupReS and MNDPT. Its main objective is to support its members in moving to the LMD system (Licence/Masters/Doctorate). Secondly, iRENALA helps its members to develop digitally by providing them with specialised services tailored to their needs, such as videoconferencing, cloud hosting, secure collaboration, institutional management, digital resources for different fields of study, etc. Currently iRENALA has 29 members and more than 15 services.
