    5G, AI, and sustainability lead discussions at FUTURECOM 2025

    5G and AI integration dominate conference discussions at FUTURECOM 2025 Brazil

    São Paulo, 30 September 2025 – FUTURECOM 2025 Brazil officially opened today at the São Paulo Expo, drawing telecom operators, infrastructure providers, and tech innovators from across Brazil and Latin America. As one of the region’s premier tech events, FUTURECOM places 5G monetisation and AI-driven infrastructure at the heart of its discussions, shaping the future of digital connectivity and network efficiency in LATAM.

    The keynote emphasized that 5G monetisation and AI-driven networks are critical to meeting the digital needs of the region. Costa pointed out that telecom companies must focus on providing intelligent infrastructure while ensuring cost-efficiency and sustainability.

    Sustainability and innovation take centre stage

    Beyond AI and 5G, FUTURECOM 2025 Brazil is spotlighting sustainable digital transformation in the telecom sector. A special track on “Sustainability and Green Networks” gathered industry leaders to discuss how the telecom industry can reduce its carbon footprint while scaling operations. Experts shared insights on energy-efficient networks, eco-friendly data centres, and the integration of renewable energy solutions, including solar and wind power, into telecom infrastructure.

    On the exhibition floor, companies like Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, and LARUS showcased their latest innovations, from 5G solutions to smart city technologies and AI-driven automation tools. The event highlighted how these technologies are revolutionising industries such as transportation, healthcare, and industrial automation. With over 300 exhibitors, FUTURECOM 2025 is solidifying Brazil’s role as a key player in LATAM’s telecom innovation and sustainability efforts.

    Running until October 2, FUTURECOM 2025 Brazil features dozens of expert panels and networking sessions, continuing to set the agenda for digital infrastructure and technological advancement across LATAM. As 5G, AI, and sustainability converge, the event is shaping the future of connectivity and innovation in Latin America.
