  • ISN offers dedicated fibre, microwave, MPLS, satellite internet, cybersecurity, IoT, cloud services and systems integration.
  • The industry faces challenges such as infrastructure cost, urban/rural divide, spectrum limits, power instability, and rising expectations for speed and reliability.

IS Internet Solutions Limited expands its technology and service footprint

Founded in 1997 and rooted in Lagos, Internet Solutions Nigeria Ltd (ISN) has become a major provider of internet and ICT solutions in Nigeria. On its website and LinkedIn page, ISN promotes its offerings: fibre and microwave broadband across Lagos and major cities including Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano; MPLS and satellite links; plus systems integration, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT and connectivity aggregation services.

ISN also promotes itself as a systems integrator and bandwidth aggregator, bringing together multiple services under one roof: connectivity, cloud, cyber-security and IoT. Its LinkedIn description includes being a “bandwidth aggregator, cyber security, cloud services, internet of things LoRaWAN, NIRA Registrar, systems integrators.”

IS InternetSolutions Limited matters in Nigeria’s connectivity ecosystem

Nigeria’s telecoms industry is in the middle of a shift. Fibre is rolling out in big cities, and customers are asking for reliable, low-latency connections to support cloud platforms, online education and digital trade. Yet outside the urban core, the picture is different: power supply interruptions, the high price of fibre construction and patchy infrastructure continue to limit progress.

ISN has responded to this shifting environment with a change at the top. A new chief executive has been appointed, a move that underlines the company’s intention to keep pace with rapid market developments. With more local ISPs and international players entering Nigeria, expectations for reliable, integrated service are rising. The providers that can combine resilience with broad support are the ones most likely to retain customer confidence.
