  • Founded to increase ICT capability in Ghana and the wider region, GI-KACE focuses on research, innovation, consultation, and e-Governance solutions while fostering individual and institutional growth.
  • The center offers state-of-the-art ICT training, including courses in software engineering, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, and is outfitted with West Africa’s first supercomputer, equipping professionals to meet industry expectations.

GI-KACE driving innovation and training

GI-KACE has developed a robust, multidisciplinary team that has operated in over 10 African nations for more than 20 years. Its goal is very clear: to offer quality-focused, experiential learning as well as globally competitive research and advising services. The center has established itself as a center for innovation in Ghana and abroad, from creating useful ICT solutions to coaching the upcoming generation of tech leaders.

Tackling industry challenges head-on

Like most of Africa, Ghana’s ICT industry struggles to keep up with international technological trends, lack of skilled workers, and inadequate infrastructure. Through programs like the Certified Cybersecurity Analyst course and the Digital Jobs for Youth project, GI-KACE fills these gaps and makes sure that graduates are prepared to contribute to the digital economy. Partnerships with universities and other institutions, like as Koforidua Technical University, further boost the centre’s impact on skills development and digital innovation.

Shaping Africa’s digital future

As a leader in ICT education and innovation, GI-KACE has more than 20 years of experience. Its dedication to quality, demand-driven training, and innovative research aligns with its ambition of being a global center of excellence in ICT and e-Government solutions. For Ghana and the rest of West Africa, GI-KACE continues to be a vital component of digital advancement.
