What happened: Vodafone launches same-day handset repair service across UK stores
Vodafone has launched the ‘Fix & Go’ service. It offers same-day repairs for Samsung, Apple, and Google handsets. The service is available for devices on any network, including out-of-warranty ones. Customers can fix their phones in just two hours. Prices start at $61 for a battery replacement and $150 for a screen replacement. Initially, five stores will offer the service: White City, London Stratford, Oxford Street Experience, Cardiff, and Edinburgh Princes Street. Vodafone plans to add 13 more locations later this year.
The repairs will be done by Vodafone repair specialists. They will use software from Fonehouse to handle bookings, stock, and repairs. Fonehouse will also provide the necessary training and equipment. This service aims to meet the demand for affordable, quick repairs. It will address concerns about cost and long waiting times that many customers face.

Why it’s important
The launch of ‘Fix & Go’ is a big change for Vodafone. It transforms stores into places where customers can get more than just devices. Vodafone is now offering phone repairs, advice, and support. Research shows 56% of customers worry about being without their phones, while 53% fear high repair costs. By providing affordable and fast services, Vodafone aims to solve these problems.
The service is also part of VodafoneThree’s plan to improve its customer experience. Vodafone merged with Three UK in June 2025 to create VodafoneThree. The launch of ‘Fix & Go’ shows the company’s commitment to better serving its customers.
