A complaint-oriented domain name is easy to ridicule when it first appears on a registrar search page. The harder question is whether a registrant renews it after the joke has faded. Vox Populi Registry Ltd. has to sell a recurring unit of value in a namespace built around criticism: the annual right to keep a name that can signal openness, redirect complaints, block a reputational hazard, or host public grievance. The renewal test is whether that annual right feels more useful than the friction created by owning a word that many brands would rather not explain.
