The new funding supports LG Uplus’s Paju project as work continues on the first building of the planned 200MW campus.

LG Uplus gab am 4. August die Übernahme des koreanischen MDR-Anbieters PAGO Networks bekannt. Dessen DeepACT verbindet eine Plattform mit rund um die Uhr arbeitenden Analysten. Die Fähigkeit soll an bestehende Identitäts-, Netzwerk- und Cloud-Sicherheitsdienste angebunden werden. Das kann Übergaben verkürzen und Entscheidungen konzentrieren. Kaufpreis und erworbener Anteil bleiben jedoch geheim; vollständiges Eigentum oder eine bestimmte Kontrolle darf daraus nicht abgeleitet werden.

A LG Uplus anunciou em 4 de agosto a aquisição da PAGO Networks, empresa coreana de detecção e resposta gerenciadas. A DeepACT combina plataforma e trabalho humano contínuo. O plano é conectar essa capacidade ao controle de segurança, identidade e proteção de nuvem já oferecidos pela operadora. Isso pode reduzir passagens de responsabilidade, mas também concentrar dados e decisões. Valor e participação adquirida não foram divulgados, impedindo presumir controle total.

LG Uplusは8月4日、韓国のMDR事業者PAGO Networksを買収したと発表した。DeepACTはプラットフォームと24時間の人による監視・分析・対応を組み合わせる。既存のID、ネットワーク、クラウド保護にこの運用をつなぐ構想だ。ただし、取得金額と持分は非公表で、所有権の範囲を断定できない。顧客にとっては、統合範囲より先に、誰が何を見て何を実行できるかが重要になる。

Es una integración potencialmente más profunda que añadir otro producto. También amplía el poder del proveedor sobre datos y decisiones. El precio y el porcentaje comprado no se divulgaron, por lo que el perímetro de propiedad sigue abierto.

The strategic shift is from selling security components toward controlling detection, judgement and response as a continuous service. Yet the price and acquired stake were not disclosed. Before customers treat the deal as an integrated security platform, LG Uplus must define what it owns, which teams hold response authority and how telemetry and contracts will move.

LG Uplus bezifferte den Baufortschritt Anfang Juni auf rund 20 Prozent und erklärte, eine geplante Stromversorgung von 200 MW sei gesichert. Das neue Kapital stärkt somit Beschaffung und Ausführung; es belegt weder 200 MW eingeschaltete IT-Last noch Abnahme durch Kunden oder gemessene Nutzung.

Em junho, a LG Uplus dizia que a obra estava cerca de 20% concluída e que havia garantido fornecimento planejado de 200 MW. O anúncio atual sustenta compras e construção; não comprova 200 MW energizados, aceitos por clientes ou medidos em operação.

LGが坡州のAIデータセンターに1兆3000億ウォンを追加投入する方針を示したことで、計画の資金面は大きく前進した。一方、設備の状態は資金発表だけでは変わらない。LG Uplusは6月初め、工事進捗を約20％と説明し、200MWの電力供給枠を確保したとしていた。したがって今回確認できるのは、大規模キャンパスを造る実行余力の拡大であり、200MWがすでに通電、顧客引き渡し、計量されているという事実ではない。

LG ha elevado de forma material su apuesta por el centro de datos de Paju al anunciar otros 1,3 billones de wones. La cifra financiera avanza más deprisa que la obra. LG Uplus situó el progreso en torno al 20% a comienzos de junio y afirmó que el proyecto tiene asegurado un suministro previsto de 200 MW. Es una mejora en la credibilidad de la ejecución, pero no equivale a 200 MW encendidos, aceptados por clientes o medidos por la red.

L’engagement supplémentaire de 1 300 milliards de wons donne au projet de Paju une assise financière beaucoup plus large. Il ne transforme pas pour autant un chantier en centre de données opérationnel. Début juin, LG Uplus évaluait l’avancement à environ 20 % et affirmait avoir sécurisé une alimentation de 200 MW. Le nouveau capital rapproche donc le groupe d’un objectif industriel défini; il ne prouve ni la mise sous tension de 200 MW, ni leur occupation par des clients, ni leur consommation effective.

LG’s additional KRW1.3tn commitment changes the financial scale of the Paju AI data-centre project. It does not change the physical state of the campus overnight. LG Uplus said in June that construction was about 20% complete and that a 200MW power supply had been secured; the new money therefore supports a defined route toward a very large facility rather than proving that 200MW of servers is already drawing power. The useful question is how capital, grid capacity, buildings and customers move through different clocks before a target completion in 2027.
