Why it’s important

Bagnasco’s appointment comes at a time when the global telecommunications industry is navigating rapid digital transformation. His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in addressing challenges related to global connectivity, interoperability, and the delivery of new digital services at scale.

The GLF’s mission aligns with these objectives, providing leadership to ensure that the international wholesale industry continues to be a critical part of the global ICT ecosystem.  Bagnasco’s experience at Sparkle, a key player in global telecommunications, positions him well to guide the GLF in achieving its goals.

His tenure is anticipated to bring renewed focus to collaborative efforts that enhance interconnectivity and support the evolving needs of the digital economy. As the industry continues to adapt to emerging technologies and increasing demand for seamless global communication, Bagnasco’s leadership will be instrumental in steering the GLF’s strategic direction.
