Napier AI has named Noel King as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a move that signals the firm’s commitment to advancing its AI-driven financial crime compliance software. King, who brings extensive experience in tech strategy, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure, previously held leadership roles at Implement Technologies and Shipyard Technology Ventures. He has a track record of helping global corporations such as Mastercard and Goldman Sachs leverage cloud-native platforms to solve complex challenges.

At Napier AI, King’s primary focus will be to oversee the development of AI-enabled products for financial institutions, aimed at improving money laundering detection and alleviating the burden on compliance teams. This includes tools for client screening, transaction monitoring, and transaction screening. By prioritising API-first technology, these solutions aim to deliver enhanced fraud detection capabilities while also streamlining operations for financial services.
