    • The partnership was highlighted during the July 26 Independence Day celebrations, showcasing Lonestar Cell MTN’s commitment to community support and solidarity with national initiatives.

Lonestar Cell MTN, a leading telecommunications company in Liberia, has demonstrated a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility by supporting vulnerable communities, particularly through its partnership with Remar Liberia, a faith-based rehabilitation center. The company made a significant donation to Remar Liberia, which focuses on helping individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

Lonestar made a donation to Remar Liberia on Independence Day celebration

Lonestar Cell MTN is a major telecommunications company in Liberia. They are helping people in need by donating to a special organisation. The donation is especially meaningful because it happened during Liberia’s Independence Celebration on July 26. This celebration marks the country’s freedom and is a time for people to come together. By visiting Remar Liberia during this time, Lonestar Cell MTN shows that they are committed to helping those in need. The company has decided to give money or resources to an organization called Remar Liberia. This donation is a way for Lonestar Cell MTN to show they care about making positive changes in the community to help others, especially those who are struggling.

Remar Liberia is a Christian-based rehabilitation center. This means it is a place that helps people who have problems with drugs and alcohol. Rehabilitation centers are like safe houses where people can get help to recover from their addictions. They provide support and guidance to help individuals get better and lead healthier lives.

We are glad to be here, witnessing the impactful work that Remar has been doing for Liberians. Lonestar Cell MTN is more than just a telecommunications company; we are committed to reaching every Liberian in every aspect of their lives. We cannot leave people like you out, regardless of your past struggles. This festive season, I applaud all of you for being here and finding a new path to normalcy.

Remar is described as an international non-governmental organization (NGO). An NGO is a group that works independently from the government to help people. They often focus on social issues, like helping those who are homeless or struggling with addiction.

“We are glad to be here, witnessing the impactful work that Remar has been doing for Liberians. Lonestar Cell MTN is more than just a telecommunications company; we are committed to reaching every Liberian in every aspect of their lives. We cannot leave people like you out, regardless of your past struggles. This festive season, I applaud all of you for being here and finding a new path to normalcy.” Mr. C. Foday Emeh, Corporate Communications & CSI Manager from Lonestar Cell MTN, spoke at the event.

Lonestar expressed its ongoing support for the mission of the center they visited. This means they want to continue helping the organization that works with vulnerable people, showing that their commitment is not just a one-time event.
