The more revealing reality is a chain of control: a German service company, an Irish cloud seller, Norwegian and other hardware operators, Ardent data-centre companies, an external software partner and, since June 2026, a US-listed parent presenting the combined platform as Quake AI. Following a customer's workload through that chain shows why owning GPUs is not the same as controlling useful compute—and why the least visible contracts, consoles and operational handoffs may matter more than the machines.
